Synopsis
Agastya Cine Dreams LLP’s A Winter Tale At Shimla (A) is the story of two estranged lovers who reconnect after many years.
Chintan Kapoor (Indraneil Sengupta) is a settled widower who has a son, daughter-in-law and grandson. On the other hand, Vaidehi (Gauri Pradhan Tejwani) is married to DIG Uday
Raj Singh (Deepraj Rana), and the couple have a daughter named Diya (Niharika Chouksey). Former lovers Chintan and Vaidehi bump into each other, years after their breakup when he becomes the professor of Vaidehi’s daughter Diya in Shimla. Another love story in the background is that of Diya who is dating Rahul (Dhruv Chugh). While Vaidehi is in favour of the affair, DIG Uday Raj Singh is against it.
Chintan often visits Vaidehi in Shimla, something which her husband is not comfortable with. To put an end to it, Singh plans to get rid of Chintan in an accident. However, Kapoor survives it and in the fear of being caught, DIG Singh asks his wife Vaidehi to request Chintan to forgive him. While Vaidehi abides to her husband’s request, in return, she asks him for a promise which is to let Diya lead her life. Chintan agrees to forgive Singh and also records his confession as evidence for future. However, fed up with her husband’s behaviour, Vaidehi walks out on him.
