The Black Prince
Release date:
The Black Prince Movie
Synopsis
Brillstein Entertainment Partners and KR Films Hollywood’s The Black Prince is basically a story about a young king and the path taken by him to regain the kingdom of Punjab. The story starts off with Duleep, who happens to be the young king of Punjab after the death of his
father. Duleep, who grew up in Britain, is made to embrace Christianity, instead of Sikhism.
When Duleep starts yearning to meet his mother (Shabana Azmi), he comes to India and takes her to Britain alongwith him. While Duleep’s mother totally hates the British, she constantly reminds Duleep to reclaim his kingdom. Life comes to a sudden standstill when Duleep’s mother passes away.
What happens after that to Duleep and how he deals with life and situations which follows his mother’s untimely death, is what forms the rest of the film.
