Synopsis
T-Series Films and Maddock Films’ Hindi Medium is a comical, yet slice of life film about a couple who are highly obsessed with getting their little daughter admitted to a top-line English-medium school. The story revolves around Raj Batra (Irrfan Khan), who owns a readymade garments shop in Delhi and
lives in Chandni Chowk, his wife Mita (Saba Qamar) and their little daughter Pia (baby Dishita Sehgal).
With a sole aim of not settling for anything less than a top of the order English-medium school for their daughter Pia, both, Raj Batra and Mita Batra go upto extreme lengths.
What are the difficulties faced by Raj Batra and Mita Batra while admitting their daughter Pia in an English-medium school, do the couple’s superlative hard work bear fruits and help Pia to secure an admission is what forms the rest of the film.
