Ajit Pawar, a prominent Nationalist Congress Party leader often referred to as “Ajit Dada,” was 66 at the time of his death. He was travelling from Mumbai in a chartered Learjet 45 when the aircraft reportedly encountered technical difficulties and low visibility while attempting an emergency landing at Baramati airport. The crash claimed the lives of all five people on board, with no survivors.

As condolences continue to pour in from across the country, the reactions from Bollywood underline how the tragic loss has resonated far beyond political circles, marking a moment of collective mourning for a leader who played a significant role in Maharashtra’s public life.
