Aamir Khan and Gauri Spratt to move into another rented home amid Pali Hill building redevelopment: Report

Actor Aamir Khan and his wife Gauri Spratt are reportedly looking for a new home after having to move out of their Union Park residence in Mumbai due to redevelopment. The couple, who had recently settled into a rented apartment, are now expected to shift to another suburban property as the redevelopment of Aamir’s Pali Hill building moves forward.

According to a report by Free Press Journal, Aamir moved out of his Union Park residence around a year and a half ago and shifted to a temporary rented apartment on Nargis Dutt Road. The property is located close to the residences of actors Sanjay Dutt and Emraan Hashmi. It was also at this rented home that Aamir and Gauri reportedly tied the knot on July 5 this year.

Meanwhile, the actor and his wife are also set to own a penthouse in a high-rise building that is currently under construction at the site of their permanent Union Park residence. However, another residential arrangement has become necessary as Aamir’s Pali Hill building, where he had been renting four apartments, has reportedly finalised a redevelopment deal. As a result, the actor and his extended family will have to vacate the premises.

The report further states that Aamir and Gauri are likely to move into another rented apartment in a Mumbai suburb by the end of this year or early next year. A source quoted by the publication revealed that their upcoming rented home is currently undergoing a makeover to suit the actor’s preferences and lifestyle. The property is reportedly being given a stylish makeover before the couple moves in.

Aamir and Gauri's relationship also has a long history. The two first met around 25 years ago through Aamir’s cousin, Nuzhat Khan, but eventually lost touch. They reconnected years later and took their relationship forward. The couple initially chose to keep their relationship private before making their first public appearance together during Aamir’s 60th birthday celebrations in March 2025.

On the professional front, Aamir Khan has projects lined up, including Lalkaara and 3 Idiots sequel.
