The Sooraj Barjatiya directed Salman Khan - Sonam Kapoor starrer Prem Ratan Dhan Payo (PRDP) that released around Diwali opened with a

bang. In fact the film that has been making headlines fast became one of the highest opening day grossers this year, and has continued its stunning run at the box office.

In this Box Office report we take a look at the Opening Week collections of PRDP as compared to Salman Khan's previous releases. Surprisingly, despite good reviews and positive word of mouth, not

forgetting the festive weekend that the film enjoyed, PRDP comes in second as Salman's highest opening week grossers collecting Rs. 172.82 crores, missing the top slot to Salman's earlier release
