Rajkumar Hirani’s father passes away

One of India's best directors Rajkumar Hirani was dealt a cruel blow by the Almighty early this morning when his father passed away.

Raju's father Suresh Hirani was a Sindhi who migrated to India after the partition. He used to run a typing institute in Nagpur.

One of Raju Hirani's closest friends Boman Irani expressed his condolences and tweeted, "Raju Hirani's father passed away this morning. He was a great inspiration to Raju and also to all of us!"

We at Bollywood Hungama too express our heartfelt condolences to Raju Hirani and his family
